Dr Paul Nichols
Dr Paul Nichols has been operating from his Macquarie Street practice since 1979.
He is a Graduate and a Master of Science from Sydney University (BDS 1973, MSc 2006), a Fellow of the Royal Australasian, and International Colleges, of Dental Surgeons, a tutor to undergraduate dental students at Sydney University, and a former examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dentists.
Dr Paul Nichols is a Surgeon Commander in the Naval Reserve (RANR) was awarded the Reserve Forces Decoration (RFD) and the Australian Defence Force Medal (ADM) for over 30 years service as a consultant to the Navy.
Paul enjoys surf skiing, golf and spending time with his family.
Dr Jacob Smith (Associate Dentist)
Dr Jacob Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours at the University of Sydney in 2003. During the course of his studies, Dr Smith received the award for Prosthetic Dentistry in 2nd Year and the award for Endodontics in 3rd Year. 
Before studying dentistry, Dr Smith also completed a year of Materials Engineering at the University of Wollongong. After graduation, Dr Jacob Smith joined the Australian Defence Force as a Lieutenant in the Navy. During his first two years, Dr Smith was mentored in all aspects of clinical dentistry by specialists in Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Periodontics. As well as dental specific training, Dr Smith has also completed courses in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Emergency Management of Severe Trauma.
Dr Jacob Smith has held several positions within the Navy, including Fleet Mobile Dental Officer that involved treating patients on board Australia’s various warships. For a short period, Dr Smith fulfilled the role of Fleet Dental Surgeon and was responsible for the dental fitness of all deployed Navy Sailors and Officers.
Dr Jacob Smith has a keen interest in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry and is currently undertaking continuing education in the areas of orthodontics, endodontics and Implant dentistry. He takes pride in his work and provides a caring and professional approach to his patients.
Jacob also enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as playing golf and exercising, he is also currently taking a photography course and learning to speak Cantonese.
